It all started in 1952 when Jack Beaver and Riley Godwin purchased Aaberg Truck and Tractor Company, the local International Harvester dealership. While Riley served as General Manager of the dealership, Jack was involved in the dealership's operations while also continuing his family's business: Shipping grade A milk out of the area, which they did for over 50 years, until 1973.
Both men were involved in many community organizations and leadership positions throughout their careers including the Alvin ISD school board, Alvin Chamber of Commerce, several farm organizations, Chairman of the Trustees of the First United Methodist Church of Alvin, Brazoria County Fair Board, Galveston County Fair Board, Alvin Noon Lions Club, and South Park Baptist Church.
We built and moved to our current location, a modern 32,000 square foot facility, in 1976. At that point, International Harvester was our main line. We carried IH's farm machinery, construction machinery, and trucks, and served the area's farmers, construction companies, and homeowners. Today we proudly sell and service the full Kubota line of Ag, Turf, and Construction equipment, Landpride implements and attachments, Modern mowers and attachments among many other short lines. Our ultimate goal is excellent customer service and satisfaction.
